We are looking to go there April/May time, they do have electric and wfi, the local village and restaurant look good, rural but sounds good to us. Just seen JJ put a link on to the site. Could be the time of year, we had our emails answered quite quickly, but think it could just be a easy going but relaxing site. Have a good Christmas & New Year where ever you end up. ::bigsmile:

Here is a suggestion...

The Chicken Run site is 14 kms from the site at the beach in Portimao (by the Marina).

This Portimao site is for off-site parkers/campers who want a bit of security and don't mind having (sometimes) many other motorhomes around them.

Sadly there is a charge... it used to be €1 (one Euro) per night but the greedy owner has now doubled the fee to €2 per night. For this you get flat, hardstanding "pitches", a waste dump point and the ability to buy water if you forgot to fill up before arriving. A bread lady calls at some unearthly hour each day.

Why not stop in at Portimao and go visit the Chicken Run in person?
