But firstly I'm having a problem calling our MH a MH, just seems too complicated a word So we've gone for the easy option of Camping Car as at least the locals know what we're talking about...
Made our 3rd trip out recently with 9 days across central France inc some days on the coast at Biscarrosse. On Weds we set out for 12 days through France to Stonehenge, Malvern and up to the Lakes.
Really like the freedom vs tin tenting and the real bonus is that we have everything with us at all times. By chance we came across a nice beach with an aire (Flot Bleu) right next to it, went in and spent a great day there and BBQ afterwards, what a pleasure.
Children and dogs really enjoy it too. Each time we bring the CC to the house, the dogs get in and wait for us to set off and the children just love traveling with a table to play on and a decent TV/DVD player to watch, not to mention the stops and pic nics on route.
Turning out to have been a good thing to get in to and I can see trips 5 and 6 being planned already....
Still lots and lots to learn but that's part of the fun
