Thought you might which is why I stopped at the Bells distillery on the way up to get yours
Spoiling me? Thanks Clive. That tightwad @cruiser just decants Aldi Glenratspiss into his 100 year aged Old Pulteny bottle and dishes that out*

*no Cruisers were hurt in the making of this post. :p

I have got feelings. Just no good scotch. YET. A certain supermarket comes to mind. @DuxDeluxe
Well, I'm bringing a supermarket bottle I hadn't seen before ... I have no idea what it's like but I'm sure the connoisseurs on here will soon tell me.:beerchug:

I am not much of a whiskey drinker so I hope that does not disqualify me from the meet!

Maybe I shall be a convert after the distillery visit and being surrounded by enthusiasm.

Looking forward to it!

The Missus will be on gin, pimms etc. We will do our best to convert you.
Enthusiasm for just about anything alcoholic abounds in this motley crew :D2

I do have a bottle from that Welsh whiskey distillery, but no idea how it compares to others.

Of course, we do need to be sober enough to move on to the Norfolk show on Thursday morning!

We are going to do what we did last time at Romney....... get Nelson to run interference and distraction and then we both mug @cruiser for whatever he has got. In the very likely even that it will be very slim pickings, we then move on to @Clive and distract him with something shiny and mug him over.........

ssshhh...... this is our secret plan, so don't tell anybody..........

It is good stuff.

That's a relief, of course they do a range, so hopefully mine is OK.

I also have a bottle of cognac, it was given to me on a birthday, but I do not know by whom. It came in a box and unfortunately the person buying it did not check and it still has the security tag around the neck. Well....I am assuming that this was a mistake rather than that someone stole it to give to me!! The good news is that the security tag does not prevent the bottle being opened or the contents being poured into a glass.

To be on the safe side I suggest that you should get rid of the evidence as soon as possible. I will, of course, be very willing to help you with that difficult task. :D2
