HI CAN ANY ONE HELP THE ENGINE IN MY KON TIKI SWIFT 640 HAS A CRACKED HEAD AND I CANT FIND A NEW ONE FOR IT. ITS AT THE GARAGE NOW AND THEY CANT GET THE PARTS EITHER ITS A 1991 2.5 TURBO DIESEL PERGEOT MY MOB NUM IS 07919407207 IF ANY ONE CAN HELP THANKS PAULINE

Try looking for an LDV Convoy van of a similar year. Im sure they fitted the 2.5 TD Peugeot engine in them :thumb:

They are quite common on eBay.

Search for Talbot Express, Citroen C25 or Peugeot J5 - all the same vehicle except for the badges.

Non-turbo but I imagine the head's the same.

be a bit careful as a non TD head may not be the same..

but the 2.5 must have been fitted to a lot of applications, so you should be able to find something good luck

a good re conditioner would be able to Stitch the crack if it do's not run into the inlet / exhaust ports.

By far your best chance of sourcing the identical head is via breakers. If you don't have a large breaker in your area or one which breaks Peugeot, try this website;
Used Car Parts | Find a Part

They will locate a breaker who has the part and will arrange mail. Not the cheapest option....but you will get the correct part.
