Engine Number (1 Viewer)

Been looking for an oil filter for my 2003 2.8 JTD. It seems there are two alternatives with different diameters depending on the engine number.
So where can I find my engine number as it`s not listed on V5, it just says Not Known

According to Euro Car Parts .....

Engine Number To 4006626 - outer diameter 109 mm
Engine Number From 4006626 - outer diameter 97mm

Looks like it might be easier to measure the existing filter than try and find the number stamped on the engine block !

EDIT : If you have engine 4006626 I wonder which one you buy ?

Maybe drain oil and take your filter to car parts , a pain i know .

Buy both and take the one back that doesn't fit.
