Engine bsttery replacement (1 Viewer)

I've never kept a motorhome as long as this model but after nearly 8 years my engine battery is struggling to keep a good charge.
As I've never replaced a battery before can anyone recommend a good substitute for the original item.
I have a Carthago AClass with the 2.3 Multijet 150bhp engine 2013.

Had the Moho Mot'd yesterday no probs apart from cab battery they say it needs replacing, not had any problems starting but it has been left longer than normal due to covid but it is topped up via solar. I think I know the answer but before I go out and spend my hard earned beer money what do...

As you'll see I replaced ours with a Yuasa YBX5019 but best to check your current battery sizes first. A couple of other brands are also mentioned.

Better web sites have battery dimensions. That's the most important but and after that get the highest CCA rating you can. Most common battery on van base was 017 model or 019 which was a little taller.
