Hi Pezza
In reality the answer to your question changes like the weather
For every 750 owner that said his does, there will be one that said his don't
Your Motor Home is either configured to do it automatically or via a switch on a control board or not at all
It seems these options can apply to almost any make or model, can you see a switch on your board with a pic of a van cab, or a switch that's labelled habitation batt that can be rocked to another position ie eng batt
As said many times on here a multi-meter will give you the true picture

Hi Geo
Thanks for the info. There is no switch at all so as I suspected it only charges the habitation batteries. I have installed a cetek cigarette type socket direct to the battery and can now leave th cetek charger permanently plugged in vis the 240v in the habitation area.
Ideally if I had the time to use it more then the battery wouldn't go flat - but too much work commitments at the moment!
As you confirmed, each unit is different.
thanks for the help
