Actually.. it was .

... an A class is built around an existing chassis, battery and all .. it's a common issue with this type of conversion ... small engine hatch with poor access... a case of style over function .. worth consideration when choosing an A class, especially if it's elderly and you intend to do your own maintenance,

Yep. ours is the other side of the van and if anything further back. They had serviced our vehicle the previous year and may not have remembered where it was. We just said, when booking the MOT, could you put a new battery on it please. Dropped the van off and scuttled away sharpish Jane
