Engine and gear box match question

I'm looking to trade and buy a 6.3m pvc. Fiat 140 engine on an auto box. Will 140hp be enough to power up long motor way hills with out slowing down? Van we are interested in is Auto trail 636.

From what I can find it's a 2.3ltr 147bhp, not 140bhp.
More than enough for a PVC
