Hi guys
Just got 2 endless breeze delivered. Plugged them in and both vibrate really badly. Do they all do this ?

Not noticed it on mine but only got it yesterday and just did a quick test, seemed ok.

Mine is very noisy and vibrates like mad as the fan is out of balance. Wouldn't buy one again I must admit

The plastic fan is out of balance .

Put into YouTube "endless breeze fan vibration" there's a good vid of the boy balancing the fan. Alternatively there plenty of companies out there who will balance them. I'm going to give it a go as I tried all day to get replacements but sold out / discontinued everywhere

I was going to suggest getting it balanced. If you can find someone who can do dynamic balancing it should run well afterwards but the fan isn't very thick so simple static balancing could be good enough and hopefully cheaper.
They are not hard to dismantle and from memory the fan comes off easily.

Mine vibrates, keep meaning to have a go at balancing but haven't got round to it yet. At the price they are they should be perfect straight out of the box!

Well 30 mins and using a blob of blue tac and the two fans have only a tiny tiny vibration 100% better than dancing all over the table.
Theve been running for a hour now and alls good
If the blue tac comes off I will get them professionally balanced

I must do mine. A blob of silicone sealant would strike me as a reasonably permanent weight.

Good idea but hard to judge with the blue tac you can add/remove tiny bits till your happy
If you could weigh it then somehow get the same weight of silicone it would certainly be better more perminate

I know what you mean. I reckon you could spin it up though with a blob of wet silicone on though - giving you a chance to add or subtract some - I've got some clear stuff that's quite viscous. I might stand out of range when I first spin it up though!

Thanks for that. Joe's just balanced our fan which arrived this morning which was extremely noisy and very unbalanced and was walking across the table. Can't believe how unbalanced it was. Obviously wasn't tested before leaving the factory.

What about using some Sugru. Is like blue tac but sets like silicone. Best of both worlds. Very versatile stuff. As ever available from Amazon.

I just had a closer look / test of mine that came this to check for vibrations and happily I can report no such problems. However it looked a bit loose around the side so a took a closer look and all four screws on one side holding the thing together were missing !!!
Easily rectified but clearly they have no quality control

Sounds about right if they are now Dometic
