Emovis tag

After deliberating, I decided to order my emovis tag this morning, only to be met by this message:

“We are currently not accepting Liber-t tag subscriptions due to a stock shortage of Liber-t tags for France.”

What are the recommendations of other funsters?

My recommendation is.. Don't use the toll roads

I tried bip and go but it wouldn’t accept my Nationwide IBAN.

Will just walk round and let it have my card.

We've got a ATMB tag. The website is in French but there is an English option for some pages but not all.

I just got a replacement for my ATMB tag as was worrying about the battery being low as I have had it a long time. It came quickly, no apparent shortage there.

If you had bought a proper Hymer with the steering wheel on the proper side you wouldn't have to walk round.

ATMB for me, easy to set up payment details, they sent me a replacement two years ago as the battery had died, worrying as you drive to the barrier and it did not open

Same here, but we also have a NatWest joint account and we used that without problems.

If you had bought a proper Hymer with the steering wheel on the proper side you wouldn't have to walk round.

We have a Hymer with the steering wheel on the correct side but we still use an emovis tag.
We enjoy the small victories using the 30k non stop drive through barrier.
I know………just can’t help but enjoy it

We sent for a replacement last week ( low battery) and the new one turned after three days, so they do have new stock in the UK.

My TAG had an expired battery when I checked last week. Replacement arrived in 2 days from Emovis in Harrogate.

Although I did phone them as the website replacement page showed a message that they were not able to issue replacements due to shortages.

I was unsure of how to do it and could not find the option on the web site, so I just declared it lost or stolen and asked for a replacement. There was a small charge that showed up on my next month's payment.

Log in to your account and follow the instructions. Basically you order a new one, for which you are charged and return your old one for which you are refunded.

How far in the future is this please? I only ask because we are making our first trip to France in June, and need to use motorways for most of the journey, so were assuming that we would get one of these.

I have used APPR For many years,the new name is Mango.
quick to send new if fails to lift the barrier,you just have to return the non working one within 30 days.
Think you can change the language on the purchase page.

How do you know it’s expired? I have checked their website which says my battery is good, no idea how the website knows as it’s not been near France in the last couple of years.

I think it’s just done on age, ours lasted 4 years before they said it had expired.
