Ok, first trip out with our new Autosleeper Air which has a rising roof and when we came to go home we struggled, and struggled (almost to divorce levels ) getting the roof to lock because the top bit of the lock mechanism which is supposed to clip under a bar on the bottom bit of the lock wasn’t aligned correctly. Only by about a millimetre but that prevented it from fitting under the bar.
Not had to deal with the canvas roofs before and we thought at was us but we tried various ways of tucking up the canvas, pulling it in as far as we could, folding it up behind the locks. That roof was up and down like a fiddler/s elbow. We did manage of a fashion eventually but when we got home and had another go we had the same problem and the heat today wasn’t helping.
Anyone got any suggestions to help.
Photo attached shows what it should look like with the top lip sitting centrally under the lower ‘bar’. Ours was far to the left and would clip down at all.
