A little help please with regards to the above. I have read somewhere that it is possible to move the arms closer to the van sides by the adjustment of an allen key that is accessed by tilting the top mirror as far as possible.
Looking at this earlier and it has me puzzled, the arm for the mirror that attaches to the side of the van appears to be spring loaded so how is it possible to adjust the range by moving the allen key that is behind the mirror 🤔
Or am l missing something 🤔🤔

Yep loss of things in the Blindspot 🤣🤣🤣😭

My arms simply push to where they're needed - and stay there due to friction. The mirror pods themselves rotate on the hangers - again held by friction. Mine is Le Voyageur so likely to be the same as yours.

On the top of the arms on mine there is a cover held on with a couple of small screw, take it off and there is a big socket cab screw that holds the arm in place. Needs a bit in a small ratchet to shift it can't do it with an Allan key.

Thanks for the replies peoples, my arms do push to where l would like them but then spring back to where l don't.
There are no covers on the top of the arms either 🤔
Assuming no rain tomorrow l will investigate further.
Thanks again,

I had reason to dismantle the 'pods' because they were so stiff to rotate I couldn't decide whether they should or not. The rear covers are held by screws at the four corners of the glass (which has to be motored between its extremities to get at the screws). Once the covers are off it is obvious how to adjust the stiffness and / or lubricate the mounting shaft. What isn't so obvious is that they are originally intended to be mounted below the side windows after inverting them and doing a L/R swap. The upside down logo on the outside is the first giveaway and there are others inside. Just thought you might be interested 😁.
