Many Thanks email sent I want to know if I fit a schaudt lrm 1218 solar controller will the charge rate/ amps etc show on my LT 511 display or do I need a separate one

Had a schaudt controller fitted and it all goes through the original panel.

Our panel has a state of the batteries button which shows the rate of charge and level of charge in the vehicle and leisure batteries. The electroblock is a 100-2 and I assume a lot older than yours (along with the panel).

I have LT 500 switch panel and display.

Pressing the leisure battery side of the rocker switch twice on the panel ( within a couple of seconds) will bring up the charge/discharge reading in amps. Depending on if you are charging from mains, running engine, or solar(if fitted) this will show the amps provided by the charge source.

Just taken this photo of my read out when not connected to mains hook, engine not running and sun setting so v little from solar.

The illuminated “A” shows its amps being measured, the bottom row of RED lights show there is a DISCHARGE. If the top row of lights were illuminated GREEN this would show there is a CHARGE.

The YELLOW arch of lights reaches to approx 0.2 amps showing the size of the discharge, caused by an LED light strip being on in the MH.

@Margaritaman thanks very much for taking the time to do this for me if the lt500 panel does it I’m hopeing the lt511 will follow suit thanks again
