Hi I have been trawling the net for seals for the toilet cassette Dometic CT4110.
Plenty of Thetford seals to be had, but no one seems to do the Dometic ones.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

May I ask if it is definitely the seal? If a toilet has been unused for a while trapped bacteria can make it smell, we had that happen. It cleared after it was flushed several times and freshened up with cleaner.

No its definitely a leak. When I pull out the cassette there is urine on the box floor. Must admit the seal doesn't look worn. I did give it a coat of vasaline but no joy.

Same hear , just buying a new cassette , well trying to anyway.

Will then fit a sog system , as we had one in the last van and that worked well.

I have just had the same problem this week. Removd the cassette and found small amount of urine under it. No smell as yet but somewhat concerned as to why it has got there. Our cassette is only 2 years old and cant show any ware?

I have found this last couple of weeks that the pull handle has become very stiff. Anyone suggest how to losen it? tried various oils (olive/3in1) but nothing seems to be sorting it.

I have the Dometic cassette in my 730 Elegance and it developed a sticky pull handle I stripped out the slide on top of the cassette and cleaned it and then coated it with silicone grease and it seems to be working smoothly even after our last five week trip.

A very small amount of unseen paper, caught between blade and seal and you can end up with an Elsan locker full of flush and urine.

Dometic
told us that silicone grease is the only thing to use to lubricate slides on handle. I have to do ours every week.
