Hi.
Ran my daughters fridge off 240v for about 24 hrs, went to get cold beer and fridge had turned into an oven. Seems to be ok on gas and 12v and first night she got it fridge chilled down well on 240v. She's only had the van a week and we've only tried things out on the drive. The van is a 20 year old Auto sleeper trophy and she does have a 6mths warranty. I just wondered if anyone has come across this problem.
Thanks Mike.

Have you a 240v polarity tester it possibly could be reverse polarity pos/
neg .then would get warm .

If the 230v power is going to the fridge and it's not cooling (and it cools on 12v and gas ) then the 230v element is goosed..

Note: it doesn't have polarity .. it's an element.. plain and simple... easy job to replace..

Dealer has all ready been contacted and an engineer is going to come out to the van, but with the with the knowledge and experience amongst the funsters, it's nice to know if anybody has experienced the same problem and what the resolution was .
Knowledge can be power.;)

That is what I thought, we'll see what the engineer has to say.
Thanks Mike.
