We've owned our van a 22 year old Lunar Roadstar 720 for 12 months and the fridge works fine on gas but not on mains. I haven't really tried 12v as this draws a tot of current and gas is probably more efficient.
This is the fridge:
So, the van is presently on 'hook-up' outside the house. The plug that supplies 240v to the fridge is live and the gas is turned off. When I switch the fridge on by depressing the on/off button the AES LED illuminates green and there are two 'clunk' sounds followed by the AES LED turning red. This video shows the process and only one 'clunk' as I didn't want to bore you
At this point I'm stuck and have to revert to gas!
Would be nice to get it working on mains electric/hook-up as I could stock-up the fridge while outside the house on hook-up.
Any ideas?
Thanks
John
