Looking to fit a second battery and was wondering where people get the parts from?

I have got a new battery box just need the cable, fuse holders and clamps.

NEVER go to rip off Halfords, zero knowledge and useless. Depends where you are try local motor factors or Screwfix, toolstation type place or if you can wait, ebay

I didnt say they were cheap,I said they were handy.He only neads 2 clamps and 2 wires.At least they are open on Sunday.::bigsmile:

A local auto-electrics usually have rolls of cable and will sell you whatever length you need at a decent price.

As for the fittings, go for the quick release type which make life easy whenever you need to disconnect the battery.

As Don said VWP excellent company, very fast delivery, usually overnight. As for buying local, Ipswich isn't the smallest town in the UK but you try buying 25mm or 40mm battery cable, electrical factors around here don't stock it.

Neither do Halfords, unless you buy jump leads and cut the clips off. :Eeek:
