Hi all.
Discovered this when window stopped operating, found a loose connection. But my horn has stopped working and as they share the same fuse in the glove compartment, I was wondering if the horn may be operating off the leisure battery too?? Is the window designed this way or has it been modified???

You mean the cab door window?
If so it will operate on the engine battery along with the horn.
Far too much involved rewiring to hab battery and would also mean the other door window would have to work from hab battery. The drivers door will have a master switch and passenger door a slave switch. .

It's an A class so it's possible hymer wired it in that way.
Really needs someone with a similar vehicle or a wiring diagram to confirm.

Are you sure the electric window works off the leisure battery? Fuses in the glove compartment are usually those for the vehicle battery only.

In our Hymer B678 (2015 model) all the fuses for the leisure battery stuff are on the Electrobloc. The cab electric window works off the vehicle battery, but has a delayed switch off after the ignition. That means that you can continue to operate the window for a minute or two after the ignition is switched off.

I think it's a modification (see photo) fuses added, got the horn fixed yesterday. I disturbed the cable when replacing renewing the Battery, hence the Discovery.
All good, I can live with it. Thanks for the input.
