Electric step broke (1 Viewer)

I just thought I would mention it , my step stopped working so I put a question up on the Autotrail owners Facebook page. I got an answer in minutes with the part number of the bit most likely to be the culprit - the outcome a new part ordered received and fitted within a few days .
I got the part direct from Thule / Omnistor and it was only £27

it’s the spindle thing with a square end on the outside and a fluted shaft inside which breaks off.
