We saw that a year or so ago at NEC or Dusseldorf not sure, quite a few of the solar panels were just sticky backed photographs though so don,t think they would generate much.

Its so ugly though!

Get Eon Musk (TESLA) on the project; that'll sort that little problem out!

Of course, I meant "ELON", not Eon!

I hadn't thought about thermal gain; good point

Well with the developments at Tesla with their Semi (truck tractor) with a range of 250 miles that will change very quickly I'm sure

Non of this takes into consideration Putin's stance on preserving gas supplies to U K. Successive governments have failed to appreciate the potential problems from an over reliance on imported gas which is needed to produce electricity and solar panels on motorhome unlikely to be viable in foreseeable future.

Three years and counting, 30 years a tent tower.
I had thought the Tesla front end would make an awesome motorhome though the acceleration might not do the fridge contents much good... Think they may need to look at uprating campsite EHU connections though....:)

LOL!
Indeed they will need to do that as electric chassis are definitely on the cards and probably sooner than we might expect!

And there they are complaining about a another service area on the M3! once there is a big take up on electric vehicles the motorways and roads will be lined with service areas with charge points. :(
