Unless you put a few options on, then it will be lessLooks like it comes with a very poor 400kg ish payload as well as an engineering price.

Did they actually say it was krap?
Just what I was thinking, you will loose all of that with the big genny for recharging the batteries.Looks like it comes with a very poor 400kg ish payload as well as an engineering price.

As it's a Dutch mag the price will be about 20% less elsewhere in Europe due to their vehicle taxes. Probably be dearer in Rip off Britian.
So in real life about 100 miles if you are lucky. The March MMM had an article about this EV. Its MAX range is 180 miles (300km) It's only available at the moment from Germany and it costs £156,000!!!!
Before we take electric seriously surely we need some power stations to drive charging.
My neighbour has a Nissan Leaf and cannot use it if it's cold and raining. We live in a hilly area and to travel to the nearest shopping centre it runs out of power. By using the wioers and hezter with lights its shot in no time. He's been towed home three times this winter.
Electric? No thanks.
I don't think you understand how an electric vehicle works! If you are not moving, then you are not using electric and slow moving traffic is MASSIVELY more efficient than doing 50/60/70 mph as there is very little to no wind resistance to account for. So you will go FURTHER in slow stop start/congested traffic!I have a mental image of vans, like this, strewn all over the countryside when they failed to make it to a charging point because of a multitude of delaying possibilities like accidents, road works, getting lost, traffic lights and slow moving vehicles.
As soon as they can recharge themselves or equal the distance achievable with traditional fuels, if they are not too expensive, put me down for one.
So, under perfect conditions, you could probably drive for only 3 hours before you have to stop for how long to recharge ? I'm oot !
