I've fitted a master battery on/off switch to the engine battery to stop drain whilst in (secure) storage & all is well - except whilst I can manually lock the drivers door with the key, there Doesn't seem to be a way to lock the passenger door manually; if I lock the van (only a key lock on drivers door) via the keyfob it stays locked but when I then I switch the master switch off get out & then lock the drivers door with the key the passenger door remains unlocked !
(Whilst my secure storage is, well - secure, I don't like the idea of leaving it unlocked), I'm guessing that my only choice is to 're-route' the electrical door lock wire to the 'live' side of the master switch so that it still receives power.
Any thoughts or ideas most gratefully welcomed (no I can't leave a large vicious dog in the van ?

If the cutoff is inside the van then lock the van while inside (keyfob), then turn the battery off. Then get out and the passenger door will stay locked, then lock drivers door with key.

If the passenger door is locked when you turn the battery off it has no power to open again.

It may only have factory fitted as I'd of thought killing the power would set an aftermarket one off

Ours is a 2007 boxer so basically the same. Double checked this morning and If I press the button once I can open the drivers door from inside without it opening the passenger one, which should do what you wanted. Press it twice and it deadlocks so can't get out at all.

Dah, so simple (once someone with brains explains) - thanks Nixdorfer !
(Two on tour) = that's the downside & something to explore, maybe moving the pos (+) connection of factory fitted alarm to live side of the master cut off switch ??
