H guys
The previous owner when on ehu used to run an extension lead from one of the 240 volt sockets inside the van out through an open window to power items outside the van such as a radio, remorska etc.
This meant that the window was open all the time
SO I have this idea and want to know what you think.
make a double lead with one female plug at one end to plug into the van and at the leads at the other end- a plug for the campsite hook up lead and the extension block wired to the other lead.
Hope it makes sense.
Basically the outside extension lead is connected before the van.
Any thoughts please

Yes I've go one. Not for use on the MH , although it could be, but used in work situations where you have both blue plugs/sockets & 3 pin equipment.

not long enough
Or just use a splitter

images

make your own up with leads long enough to suit, then a 16A / 13A sockets

That way you still have the original leads

If I were doing this though I would have the splitter out of sight, somebody is bound to think you are doing something wrong :D and tell you so :)

lots of different splitter configurations available commercially from the local camping shop or online, very often cheaper than making them up yourself.

Thanks so much for all the replies.
I kind of knew it could be done but had never seen it so was unsure if it was allowed or not for any reason.
Thanks again for a great forum

5 years but still learning
Or why not fit a surface mounting 13A socket in a storage locker, can then be on the MoHo elec safety circuit. Open the locker to use the socket but locked away when not in use and not look untoward
