Electric Hob

Just noticed that when we are on "hook up" that when the electric hob is switched on it trips out either on the circuit breakers in the van or at the "hook up" plug in point. Could this be a loose conection in the van or is it due to a faulty element in the hob

Almost certainly a faulty element It's worth checking the element to earth reading.
