Electric Heater and stuff (1 Viewer)

Hi all

just bought my first van and need a bit more help. I’ve bought a very small oil filled heater that I was hoping to plug in one of the 3 pin sockets inside my Bessacar but it doesent work even though the the mains is plugged into my hose. It’s only 500 watts. Is this normal?

also, I seem to be struggling to get the camper heater working well on just electric mode, it works fine on the gas setting but doesent seem to get hit or blow out on electric. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds as though you need to check that electricity is actually distributed around the van. Do you have any other points you can plug the heater into? Does the fridge work on electric? Check your electric has not tripped out on the mains distribution box.

Have you checked the consumer unit and reset all the switches? Do you have power to all the sockets?
