If you have an electric bed in your bus, you probably have one of these types of key switch.
You will know that the key is tiny and would have been stronger if it had been made out of cardboard. Basically, ours firstly bent then simply snapped off in the lock. Took me an hour of fishing to get the broken bit out.
So get one of these replacements.
The tubular key single pole switches are much harder to damage and cost peanuts. I got mine from here: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/key-switches/0182562/ but I bet you could get it cheaper. Make sure it is single pole.
I could have done it, but the bus was down at Johns Cross for a few bits so I asked them to do it.
