I am sure this has been discussed before but I am looking for an electric BBQ/ table top grill for use sur le continent. Can anyone recommend a suitable device please. Preferably one that doesn't draw Hadron collider amounts of amps. Thanks a lot

Just checked the power consumption on ours and it's 2000 watts.

Just under 9 amps so too high for many european campsites.
Many only supply 6 amp hookups.

Purist would say a gas BBQ isnt a BBQ but a gas hob but it cooks the same way as a charcoal BBQ......unless you use skottle pans/griddle plates etc then it is a gas hob.

I dont think any electric cooker could really be classed as a bbq , but it does do great bacon, bangers steaks fish veg, potateos, I cooked a sunday dinner on mine a few weeks back.
