If you are still looking for a lever these are excellent:

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5...0001&campid=5338547443&icep_item=152456432777

You need one bigger than the nominal pipe diameter because the hole through the ball is smaller (than the nominal pipe size).
you can buy full bore lever valves they are more expensive

Here's one that should go cheap:

I agree about full flow but the cost can be excessive. It's cheaper to go up one size & use a reducer.

Useful posts. I'm going to have to do something similar on our 2012 Bailey. Not only does it take an age to drain, it's flimsy and catches on road bumps etc.
Unlike the OP there is no flexible pipe. I see from the photos that the waste water actually has to come uphill to reach the drain tap. If gravity is the only force, that isn't conducive to a healthy flow.
I'd like to get under our van and see whether we can just fit something like the CAC taps/drains discussed above.

Just ordered mine...
Took many weeks to arrive.... Now in the process of fitting it BUT the hole in the bracket (Steel not Aluminium like others have shown) needs to be enlarged OR I need to find an engineered solution to make it work... I like a challenge

Thanks for the tip. There's no way that we could use one of these drive over grey waste drains

As pointed out above the hole in the existing bracket is not big enough. I fabricated an additional bolt on bracket out of 4mm plastic. It looks a bit ugly but can easily be removed if necessary.
regards
Ian.

as above
This a reminder to sort something out with the grey drain tap on our Rienza. The drain taps are recessed in the side skirt. The taps must have a connecting pipe from the tank so they will simply need larger taps?.
The Duetto was easier having a pipe clipped under the side skirt. By fitting a longer pipe I didnt need to be on top of the drain point. I have thought of something like this leaving the taps in the skirt and fitting the same system to the Rienza.

Thanks Ian, it's one of these annoying little things, but not being technically minded I've just forgotten about it and put up with it till next time it annoys me

Here's how I improved the our grey waste dumping problem on our Elddis.

Dumping our grey water has been a source of embarrassment on more then one occasion with other motorhomes queuing up, drumming their fingers waiting for the paltry flow from our grey waste to finish.
Spurred on by seeing what Tinker2 had done to speed up the exiting of his grey water, I have today removed forever the shame and embarrassment of slow flow.

I purchased from CAK Tanks a 28mm grey waste drain tap and a 28mm to 25mm pipe reducer.

The tap - https://leisurelines.net/28mm-grey-waste-water-drain-tap-valve-4303-p.asp and the reducer - https://leisurelines.net/28mm-grey-waste-push-fit-male-pipe---25mm-hose-adaptor-j-433-p.asp

A simple job on our Elddis Autoquest 175. Remover the offending original grey waste drain tap, remover the rubber grommet on the tap mounting bracket.
The new tap is a nice tight fit into the mounting bracket and I used a jubilee clip to secure it in place, reconnect the hose from the grey tank and job done.
I can now soak ever bodies shoes at 20 paces.

The old tap = 18mm inlet and 14mm outlet

New tap = 23mm inlet and 28mm outlet

I nibbles a bit out of the mounting bracket to help lock the tap outlet to the bracket.

Hi Paul

Just fitted the new grey waste tap to my Elddis Accordo 105 and it works a treat.
Thanks for the tip so glad I found your post. (y)

Thanks for the tips here. I fitted a full-bore 3/4” valve (£8 from Amazon) and have hose attachment if needed
