What are you trying to achieve?
To keep my batteries charged and maintained whilst on hookup. 12v. ie: diesel heater, water heater switch, waterpump TV/DVD, lights and 12volt usb chargers for laptop, camera and phones etc . When we were last away I think it was the diesel heater that consumed the most from the batteries but the TV/DVD is also an old 12volt unit that we had playing DVD's at the same time.
 
Not at those figures! If your making the effort to fit a good charger, look at least 20A upwards giving you a 3-4 stage charge and can be programmed to your battery type for prolonged battery health. 30A upwards is the ideal, especially if using the van in winter with your equipment running flat out.
