Pretty much got the hang of it now!
Hi There
My 2003 Autoteail Dakota based on a Merc 316 chassis has has developed two faults.
1) the Omnistep does not retract automatically on starting the engine. It always has done then stopped yesterday.
2) The EHU 240v warning alarm now fails to sound if you start the engine with the 250v still attached and working. Again it always used to. Any ideas as to the faults. It has a new Sargent EC328 fitted this February with new control panel.
Thanks

Have both problems appeared at exactly same time or was there a time difference, ie is it the same problem with 2 effects.
Time to check fuses and relays.

Oki doki... wild stab in the dark and only guessing HOWEVER my step needs a signal from altenator to say engine has started to retract so maybe same for your EHU.
Have you lost your altenator signal.!!!

Do you still get a beep from the step controller, if not probably a fuse.
If you do needs a clean and a squirt of silicone don’t use wd40

The step and fridge are usually on a separate fuse by passing the main on off switch. This is so they work when everything else is off. This could be a clue ?

Does your fridge still work on 12 volt when your engine is running? The auto step retract and the 240 volt live need a signal from the D+ signal
