Has anyone got one of these ? At well over £1000 I want to make sure they are decent . Anybody own one ?

What your expectations ?

As Lenny says they are a bit on the cheap side. Quality electric bikes are not cheap for many good reasons.

What is the warranty like? What back up do you have should the worst happen? Can it be serviced locally or is only the manufacturer able to do it? Are spare parts readily available at at what price? Are the materials used of good quality? (Many cheap bikes are renowned for having parts made of metal which has the consistency of cheese).

As a one time multi mileage cyclist who was not only an engineer but who regularly serviced and repaired bikes of all types, remember caveat emptor.

If it is a folding bike you need then I would always recommend Brompton. They are the best by a country mile and UK made to boot. I have absolutely no connection with Brompton except as a 100% satisfied customer and an admirer of their build quality.

This is the one in question. How much should I need to pay to get a good one ?
2½k and upwards.
Hub drives will always be cheaper than crank drives but crank drives will always be better.
If you are looking at folders have you looked at some of the 20" wheel non folders where the front stem and seat tube drops down. A good comprise between a folder and a full size. Cube do a nice one for around £3k.

I better get saving then !

Would totally agree top quality and arguably the most compact of the compacts. We have added the Swytch electric upgrade as we already had the Bromptons which we carry on the boat and pretty much all the time in the car. The Swytch kit has been faultless and just a £500 upgrade to the Bromptons we have had for probably 10 years!

I was just about to suggest a decent bike (new or second hand) and upgrade with a swytch or similar kit 👍👍
