At the bottom of your post will be an EDIT button.... Click the '3 dot' symbol and choose edit. .
It is timed so if it's not there it's too late to edit.

If you are on a phone like me, you hold on the arrow next to the three dots next to the Report button and Edit choice comes up. Don't hold on Report or you report yourseld which I think I may have done a few times. :(

You only need to tap it joy, then the edit button pops up.
And don't worry, you haven't reported yourself.... You have to enter a reason for reporting then submit.

Why is the 'edit' on a timer?

I'd guess so that there's no perpetual chopping and changing later, causing confusion for the audience.

Also a subtle way of getting responders to READ THEIR CONTRIBUTION before pressing the "Post reply" button. IMO it would avoid the pointless arguments that sometimes develop before Jim has to intervene.

Why is the 'edit' on a timer?
I believe it's only really there so mistakes can be corrected.

The problem would be if replies were recieved and the post was later changed the whole thread could become very confusing.

I may be wrong but if so I'm sure others will be allong with other reasons.
