I had originally planned to get my van in to storage down in Bristol so it's closer to the ferry ports. Having second thoughts now and reckon I might drive it nearer home. Would be looking for storage in Edinburgh.

Found one place through google, anyone else know of anywhere?

That is the one that google threw up. I had no idea that neck of the woods was so bereft of storage facilities. 100 quid a month is not too bad though so I'll see if I can get her booked in.

Price is based on how long you intend to leave your van there. I pay no where near £100 a month. I think it's around £45 a month for a yearly contract. As of a few years ago payment is made monthly.
Give Alisdair a call as I know he had a waiting list recently, but has created a few new spaces. The site is handy for heading south either 5 mins onto A1 or 15mins onto Edinburgh bypass.

Yes unfortunately I am the kind of person who can't plan too far ahead and I will no doubt have it booked in for a months storage and then want to go off on another trip so can't sign up for the reduced rates of a years booking.

The place I was going to put it in at Bristol was 90 quid a month and believe me I had to shop around a lot to get that price so I can't grumble if I get a space for a hundred.

Just found these as well, no knowledge of them at all. When we cycle we have seen some storage at a caravan site near Aberlady and a few years ago Myreton Motor museum were offering storage may be worth a call.

Another thumbs up for Scottishstorage between Tranent and Macmerry, used him for a few years for caravan and motor ome.

Forgot to mention there is storage in my village at South Meadows caravan park. Our camper is stored there now. It's 2 minutes off the A1 15 miles south of Berwick. Maybe a waiting list. They have outdoor and indoor storage. We pay 360 but think it's going up in October.
