is there anywhere to wild camp around Edinburgh , we are hoping to go to the Christmas market any ideas, pubs are also a maybe any help appreciated

We always use the C&MC site in Edinburgh. Spoilt for choice when it comes to pubs, though not for parking.

Best and safest place if you decide to wild is either Fisherrow harbour at Musselburgh and get the bus along or one of the park n rides.
There’s wilding at Portobello but I wouldn’t recommend it.
