Anyone recomend a site near to the Eden project. Thinking of visiting in April.

When we visited the project a few years ago we stopped at Innis Inn, it's about a mile away.

We stayed at Carlyon Bay Camping Park, St Austell, www.carlyonbay.net 10mins bike ride approx from Eden Project. Nice site close to sea, golf course , bus route. Outdoor swimming pools. Buses also go to Lost Gardens of Heligan, and we found them

As said above, Innis Inn and camping is the nearest. Has pub onsite, and fishing lakes if you are into that as well. Carlyon is a nicely kept site and not far away - there is also Kerrow Mill, around 2 miles.

Advantage with Innis Inn - you can get to eden through the 'locals' route - which means when the are huge queues, you miss the lot!! :thumb:

Thanks for the pointers...I was only thinking last week of visiting the Eden Project.
