Eco-Worthy Battery Winners

Eco-Worthy gave us two batteries as prizes for a competition. Lots of you wanted to win one because we had almost 10000 entrants. Loads of people entered twice, but we whittled it down so members had 1 chance each.

We did the draw last night, witnessed by a number of Funsters at the Newark Rally and we now have two winners.

The luckiest Funster who name was drawn first, quickly became the unluckiest. His entry was voided as he had not posted in the thread. The second person drawn suffered the same fate! The was a condition of entry and is important as it ensures that the thread doesn't disappear and all Funsters get to see it and have a go.

One free member gave us a giggle, as where they should have put the code that proved they were a subscriber, they entered "Lovely prize, I promise to subscribe if I win" They didn't win

From memory (and mine is never brilliant) the subscription code wasn't your funster number but a code you got from clicking on a link within the competition page

It’s the second Motorhome Fun competition I have won so always worth entering. Older Funsters may remember I won the lockdown baking competition with my entry of a Fun rally depicted in iced gingerbread biscuits. I won a weekend at Jasmin Camping. Was my parking up ok Kannon Fodda ?

Nope. When you looked at the entry message there was a link to click on in the wording of the subscription sentence. Showed better as a link on some screens than others. The link only worked for current paid members and showed the code you had to enter. Caught a lot of us out.
