We have been on hookup on a campsite in Spain for 4 days.
Today the control panel (EC480) switched itself off. I switched it back on again only for the panel to switch off again. Left it for an hour and tried again but switched itself off. I've taken it off hookup for now and the panel light has now stayed on.
Has anyone any thoughts or explanation as to why the panel should automatically switch itself off when on hookup, could it be automatic protection because the van has been on hookup for 4 days?
Your help/ advice would be most welcome thank you.

Charger fault maybe, fan could have failed BUT could be so many things.
If you can and there is a separate switch, turn off just the charger and see if the EC unit works with the EHU connected.

sylvester1954 I had this and it was the solar charger over charging and the system shutting down to protect it's self. Cover the panels or try at night to see if it still shuts down, if it does then not the prob.
