We are thinking of installing a KS Energy KS-SB200B to replace 2 Varta LA95 AGM, nothing wrong with the battery but want to be able to do more off grid without worrying as theses are coming up for 3 years old. Dont want to put a B2B in for now, want to see how it goes first as they are supposed to be drop in under drivers seat. Not sure if terminal are same type till I get them out. Anyway the van has EBL102 bit thete is no setting for Lithium charging, the vitriolic solar wired into it does so what would you recommend for the charging profile please when we do hook up. Will then see what charging I get with the alternator and onboard charger.

You may well break the alternator.

The EBL will be fine on the gel setting and the Victron just needs a temp sensor to charge the lithium.

Problem is the internal resistance of a lithium battery is very low and it will suck up whatever the alternator can produce. At tickover this can make the alternator overheat and burn out.
