We had a very busy day Friday.
After being off grid for 4 months, very dull on Thursday so needed to plug in EHU, in doing this the EBL started making some load clicking noise (relay click) and no power coming out. Unplugged and checked some things , plugged back in and still click but then that stopped and no 240volts.
contacted Apuljacks in Somerset and they had a refurbished unit, so up at 5.30am, wash etc and then remove EBL and set off for Somerset, really heavy rain on M4 but no hold ups, arrived at 10am ( they need an hour to check my EBL is ok for exchange)
Left Somerset about 11.15am, sat nav gave eta 2.38pm but with heavy traffic on M5 ( at one point almost at a standstill, incident ahead sign said, when we got to incident it was a trail turned on it’s side on the other carriage way) , more heavy rain on M4, traffic near and on A34 , we finally got back at 4.10pm.
By 5.40 pm we had working EBL at least but it was a long day.

Out of interest, how much did the refurbished EBL99 set you back?
