I have great difficulty seeing the switch for the battery selection as the EBL is under the paddenger seat (RHD) so I took this picture:

using my mobile. Am I right in thinking that it is set to gel? The reason I ask is that the batteries fitted (since 2012 by the previous owner) are Humax LV25MF which are described on-line as sealed acid batteries. Certainly there is no option of topping them up. Is it right that these are being charged on the gel setting? I read somewhere that the charging regime for gel is different because they are sealed and so cant gas off so wondering if this is the case for these batteries?

Thanks @Hettie's Crew -I wasnt sure whether the switch was in the up (gel) or down position (lead/acid) -I thought maybe the red bit of the switch signified off and the black on but couldn't really tell from the picture! (mobile phone cameras are pretty amazing really so I shouldn't complain! )

Not long enough!
If you have a solar regulator there might also be a battery setting on there.

Thanks @Theonlysue - I don't think I have a separate solar regulator - just the EBL101 with its solar ports (so the control panel over the door shows my solar current). If I do I have no idea where it is!
