Eberspacher Diesel Heater Pump Ticking (1 Viewer)

[WOOOODENTOP]

Eberspacher diesel heater pump ticking.....very annoying can hear it clearly when sleeping.
I have tried lagging it to no effect,
Any ideas how to stop it???

I have mounted mine on rubber ant vibration mounts.
Its now almost silent.

is it at the right incline, as this is also important

I can't say we noticed ours in the last Motorhome. The webasto only made a noise on start up or when self servicing.
We've not had it fitted to Pug yet. Hopefully it won't be bothersome.

Use the latest P shaped rubber mount and it should make it quieter,
I fitted mine between floors in a A class and it's inaudible,

Sorry to say I had the same ticking problem with the same heater pump (on flash 10)...just before the pump developed a major leak! However, as it was still under warranty, it was replaced free of charge...and defo no ticking problems after that. Hope you sort it soon...The ticking certainly drove me nuts...and I'm deaf!!

Gas doesn't tick , it only hisses quietly and doesn't cost so much tax.

Hi I got one on my flash 04 and is almost silent but the one I fitted to my bongo would near rattle the windows until I changed the angle of the pump it made a huge difference
