Eating Fish can stave off Alzheimers

    Good news if you enjoy fish.. But why should this be ?

    We all take omega 3 fish oil capsules. Ive given them to the kids everyday since they were about 4 and twins 2. You can get it in yoghurt form or chewy sweets for little ones. Though we have the oil filled capsules now. Its the fatty acids they contain that are good for you i am lead to believe. They are especially good for children whilst their brains are developing.
    It would be nice to think it could prevent us getting such a terrible disease.
    Im sure we are all better for taking it anyway.

    We eat oily fish from tins regularly. Lidl have a good range using different sauces. I don't know about Alzheimers but it was said years ago that Omega 3 was good for the brain so perhaps this is just the DM rehashing instead of finding real news to report.

    It does have an effect on cholesterol levels though. A nurse once told Jill she could tell from some results that she ate oily fish.

    dying young also as that effect as well.
    but like it says on billy connelly,s jacket . too old to die young.
