Locally a nice Burstner motorhome was advertised recently on Ebay as a classified ad. at £28500.
It didn't stay on for long, and when I happened to call in at the local dealers a few days later it was on the forecourt at £36995.
Now sold within a week.
Clearly people are prepared to pay a substantial premium for the 'security' of buying through a dealer, as I could give other similar examples.
What's my point? I don't suppose I have one. It's just that I'm the type that prefers to hunt around for the best private deal, and these kind of figures make my eyes water
