There appear to be a few of us going over to le continent at Easter.

Some first timers as well, including some new vans.

I thought it might be an idea, if you felt so inclined, to put up where and when you are off to in case you might bump into someone (not literally as i wont have my V5)

I ll start off with P and O 0925 hrs 2/4/17 (Calais)
Heading to Berck for kite festival for a day then either St Nazaire to Royan or Royan to St Nazaire with a stop at oradour sur glane on the way or on the way back. Will be including the islands of Re, Orean and Nourmoiter, and a number of vineyards and Cognac.

Rollerteam 690 currently no fun badge (embarrassingly) and no distinguishing features (and a weighing machine inside)

Returning 21/4/17 0840 P and O (Calais)

We're heading to the Netherlands, catching the tunnel on Saturday 8th April.
Weather dependant, we should be visiting Keukenhof on Monday 10th.
We have a fun sticker, so look out for us in the car park if you happen to be visiting!

Your statement " I won't have my V5 "
My understanding was that you need to carry V5 / registration docs to be
Legal on le continent as you called it.
As anyone got any offer on this ???

Youre right. I live dangerously !
There is another thread "V5 france" something or other that i created and seen by a couple of hundred and so far 1 person has been been stopped without it and no fine. Nobody has been fined yet.
Educated gamble as it may be back in time or it may not be.

Hi Suavecarve,

There is a download on here somewhere which will allow you to print a fun badge on your inkjet or laser printer. I printed two before my sticker arrived. You should find it ok, depending on how long it takes my extremities to get warm I may be in long enough to find the link. Warning, it can use a lot of yellow ink but it looks great.

Beware the river.
Staff will tell you about any flood warning, but if rains (it is Easter!!!), have your phone turned on and don't get drunk..... you may have to evacuate......
Other than that enjoy, it's ace :)

Only yesterday i managed to work out how to print one. Not only i managed to print out 2. I image searched "motorhomefun sticker" stuck in on a word document, worked out the right size and cut it. One for rear window and one to be put where the tax disc would have gone. Just need to reallocate a couple of permit holders and after nearly 8 years I will have saved myself myself the cost of a stamp !
Cheers

We've got three weeks this year - a luxury! :D2
So we're going over via the tunnel on the evening of Thursday 13th, staying overnight near Calais, heading down towards Munich and on to Graz. After that possibly Ljubjana, then back via the Tyrol to Bavaria, then Alsace then back up towards Calais, possibly via Luxembourg. Planning on spending the last night in Ypres and crossing back on Saturday 5th May (and then back to work on Monday :()
