Easter 2020: Santander to Tarragona (1 Viewer)

Hello!

I’ve booked the ferry from Portsmouth to Santander for Easter 2020.

We’re looking for good places to watch ‘semana santa’ events leading up to Easter Sunday

We also want some good beach stops in large campsites, doing not a lot – I know, the weather might not be up to it but I’ll assume we get lucky

I’ve got a couple of questions for this thread please…

Santander looks worth a 2-night stay (i.e. 1 full day)

Route from Santander to / from the med: I like the idea of wine tasting in Rioja, or strange little places to stay for 1 night.

Campsites near Tarragona: we will probably spend 9 nights in total. Playa Montroig looks good, and seems to be easy for buses to Tarragona. Vilanova Park also looks good. Both are recommended on this forum and offered by Eurocamp, so that’s a good sign. We might split the 9 nights between the two.

Any thoughts / suggestions are most appreciated

Playa Tropicana at Alcossebre is a good site. Have you looked at the reviews for the two sites you mention, on Campercontact?
