East Neuk Fifer Touring SE.
This is a rare example of the popular Fifer Touring S but with the addition of rear travel seats and a shower.
The Camper is based on the short wheelbase Citroen Relay and is only 4.96 meters long.
The base vehicle has been fully serviced and has done 19,000 miles from new, and has just passed its MOT with no advisories.
It was first registered in April 2010.
The vehicle is fitted with Cab Air-conditioning and Cruise Control, reverse parking sensors, mud flaps all round, front fog lights, LED Day Running lights.
It also has polycarbonate headlight protectors and the door mirrors are fitted with protectors.
It has both passenger and driver air bags and heated rear windows.
There is also a DAB radio with a Bluetooth handsfree facility.
The vehicle regularly returns 38 mpg.
The vehicle is fitted with a tow bar and rear Fiamma cycle rack.
The van has been fitted with a Van Bitz Strikeback Growler alarm which also incorporates a loop to protect bikes when they are on the rack.
The alarm is also able to be used when in the van.
See Van Bitz website for full details.
This camper van conversion has won many awards and has the added benefit of a shower over and above the standard equipment fitted by East Neuk.
It also has two rear forward facing travel seats with three point seat belts so this vehicle can be used as an occasional day van.
The van has the following equipment as standard:
Two single or one double bed.
Large and small dining table, small coffee table between the seats.
Using the single beds allows access to the kitchen and the toilet at night without disturbing your partner.
An 85 litre 12v compressor fridge and freezer.
Two burner hob and grill with Piezo ignition.
The hob is powered by two 3.9Kg propane gas cylinders; we have found one cylinder lasts at least 6 months on normal week end usage, but this will vary dependant on use.
Sink with hot and cold water.
Webasto blown air heating and hot water which also has a timing facility and is thermostatically controlled.
The leisure battery is 230 Amp hour and this is charged by a 95 watt solar panel. Additionally it is also charged when driving or can be charged if connected to mains hook up through the built in Sargent charger.
The van has an external gas barbecue point and external hot/cold shower point installed.
There is a 72 litre insulated fresh water tank and 45 litre insulated waste water tank with water level gauges.
One of the key points of this design of camper is the sliding washroom compartment which allows the best use of the available space.
This has hot and cold water, fibreglass sink unit, storage unit and electric flush toilet as well as the addition of the shower.
There is a small table attached to the side of the kitchen unit which can be used if sitting outside under the Fiamma roll out awning.
All the lights, with the exception of the bathroom light have been converted to LED which reduces the load on the system allowing the van to be used off grid for that much longer.
There are four 230v sockets and two 12v sockets. There is a TV aerial fitted and fittings for a TV, along with the TV aerial booster.
The van is insulated and has double glazed windows on the side, as well as front and rear silver screens. It has a carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher.
Although this vehicle is small, in fact it is slightly smaller in length than the ubiquitous VW, it has a lot more usable space and storage.
There is a large over cab locker and four side lockers at head height.
There is storage under each seat and also underfloor storage at the rear.
In the kitchen unit there is a large storage drawer and a storage cupboard next to the gas storage locker.
There is also a fitted safe in the rear locker which will remain.
Standing at the kitchen unit there is 6' 7" of head room and between the rear seats there is 5' 11".
It is possible to move from the cab area to the living area without going outside the van, ideal if it is raining!
This vehicle is very easy to drive and park.
It has a high level of equipment. There have been not pets and it has been used by non smokers.
The vehicle is totally rust and damage free.
It is easy to see why this has won so many awards.
It is in excellent condition as it has been meticulously looked after, you will struggle to find a nicer example available at this price.
The van is ready to go to enjoy those weekends away or longer!
The van is being sold as we are getting another from East Neuk.
More photographs can be provided on request.
