if you’re visiting Spain on 31December 2020 you can continue to use your EHIC until the end of your visit to Spain.

Well worth watching out for the unwanted demise of this valuable little card.
This card saved us 30,000euros when my wife was knocked off her bike and required a new hip in Spain.
