Does anyone know the dimensions of this pump unit? I am trying to work out where it could be sited in my van without using up too much space or being a liability.

Thanks

Just measured ours and it is roughly 15” x 7” and 11” high, all in inches.
Ours is in a locker under the seats as our floor was too low for it to go under the van. If there is space underneath it can all go in a weatherproof box.
Best thing is to contact a fitter and if necessary take the van for them to have a look.

Richard.

Thanks - ours is a boy van and doesn't have a skirt ;)

Thanks.

I took the Van in for a quote but they didn't offer an external weatherproof box option. I need to check when they ring me back as it looks like it won't fit in the cubby hole next to my Truma boiler and I don't particularly want it sat out in the open in the garage. The under seat areas are already spoken for by the leisure batteries and EBL.

I know it’s not E&P or a PVC but this is what AS in Warrington did when fitting our HPC levelling system.
Very neat, no loss of storage and still accessible should it need to be got at.

You also need access to it in case of emergency, to raise or lower jacks manually. Depending on the system, this would be achieved by attaching a lever or a drill.

What you need to remember is that if you need to manually retract the jacks for any reason you need access to the end where the valves are to fit the winder on.(y)(y)(y)

Basically it's fitted where there's space and access. Mines bolted to the chassis member just rearward of the grey waste tank.
The brain box has to be fitted pretty central to the vehicle both for and aft and side to side.

I would not worry about it to much if your having it fitted at SAP as they have fitted hundreds and will do a good job rather than just slap it in.

Not SAP - only heard of SAP as a software developer  it's a local place, but they are registered E&P fitters.

I doubt your pump gear will be mount in the same housing as Neckender and ours as SAP have those housings specially made for them.
One of our friends had E & P levellers fitted at a local agent and theirs is housed in a thin black plastic cover supplied by E & P.

Might be worth mentioning the name to make sure they have a few happy customers;)

Martin

Hi Martin, not sure if we've met? Shrewsbury, Lymington?

I'm a bit old school ;) my sequence being - have the job done, decide if it's good or not, give thanks or name and shame ;)

Naming early doesn't help negotiations :) (y)

Being so close to Warrington had you not considered AS Suspension and the HPC system. Lighter than E&P with touch screen panel and phone app control. No need for a remote.

Thanks. No, I must admit that I had neither heard of nor considered either. They need to work on their on-line presence and advertising. As I have already paid a deposit on the E&P system I am committed unless something goes badly wrong.

Not long enough!
SAP doncaster uses a box underneath of their own design.
Fitted to mine.
They must fit 5 sets of levellers a week now, including to caravans and panel vans.
