Tried using the system on the van and now getting an error.
switch on remote centre buttons showing the level of the van press automatic button remote switches off. Switch on again try using manual exactly the same remote switches off.
My pump is in the garage in the rear switch remote on press automatic levelling and I'm getting a click from the solenoid then the remote switches off tried manual same thing tried all the connections to the solenoid every thing seams ok no loose connections .
Any ideas would be very helpful

I would check the following:
  • Battery in remote ok?
  • Any other lights showing on remote or main console?
  • Hand break fully on?
  • Oil in reservoir?
  • Does the main control panel work?
  • Try reset (bottom left and bottom right buttons on main control panel, not remote)

All the above are ok
I have tried pulling the fuse to reset the system still getting same error

Have you called the installer?

I have no idea who installed it already fitted to the van when i bought it .
I have 2 folders with a receipt for everything else except the one for the levelling jacks
I have phoned a local to me installer in Newport who were very unhelpful

I have heard about remote controller issues on here recently, resolved with new remotes

Not sure though if the wired controller should still work or not, I have never yet had tto revert to mine

We have had to go through the reset by removing the fuse but that has overcome similar things, but we have also had a very similar condition to yours on ours recently, but so far always got away with counting to 10 and trying again, although I probably also turned engine off and back on

Is there any chance this could have been a factory fitted, or original dealer fitted option?

I think @DavidG58 may have hit on the answer. The ignition has to be on with hand brake on to operate, but if you have spoken with SAP I am sure you have it fixed by now.

Spoke to sap
Maybe a faulty solenoid ordered new one today

Received the new solenoid fitted it today still getting the same issue
Changed the mega fuse just incase there is a crack in it which I've been told can cause a voltage drop when using the system .
Checked the voltage at the pump with engine running 14.07v with the system on pressing the automatic or manual button getting 12.6v and a clock from the solenoid valve.
Earliest date to book it into e&p approved fitter is 9th of April which isn't convenient as I'm in work so now looking at sometime in may because we are away for easter

I have been using the system for over 2 years.
I have to have the engine running and handbrake on
Otherwise I get an alarm

An update to the problem was solved today as it turns out it was a bad earth to the chassis
I removed it gave it a clean with a wire brush and all is working again
